Matt, the president of Scott Design, directs messaging and strategy for our clients, and oversees client management. Since 1995, he has managed large-scale marketing communications projects for a variety of enterprise clients, including Adobe Systems, Apple Computer, Autodesk, and VeriSign. With Matt at the helm, Scott Design has built a reputation for outstanding customer service and efficient, professional delivery of award-winning work. Michael, Scott Design’s senior account executive, has been involved in all aspects of web design and development during his career. He served as technical lead on major interactive accounts such as Apple Computer and the Tonight Show while at CKS Group, and he developed technology strategies for clients such as American Express, Sharp Electronics, Toyota USA, and Walt Disney Online while at Eagle River Interactive. Michael has provided programming services — including interface design, online transaction processing, database programming, and search engine optimization — for large corporations and startups. Michael brings to the table an in-depth knowledge of online and interactive technologies and programming languages, combined with a special focus on how the user should be the ultimate target of any solution or strategy. Kirsti Scott is Scott Design’s creative director and founder. She actively manages the award-winning design team at Scott Design, ensuring high-quality work on all print, web, and interactive projects. She was previously an art director at CKS Partners, where she created logos, brochures, packaging, and more for Apple Computer, IBM, and other clients. As senior designer and resident web standards maven, Bill makes sure our web creations are as functional as they are visually compelling. Bill attended Johns Hopkins University and the Sorbonne, completing his college degree in Europe. He returned to the United States and studied furniture design at the College of the Redwoods, working as a fine furniture maker for five years. Andy designs for web, interactive, and print projects. He is known for incredible productivity in design and production, and has gained a reputation among Scott Design’s clients for reliably delivering exceptional design solutions. He previously worked as a desktop publisher at Harding Marketing. Andy has a degree in Studio Art from San Jose State University with a minor in Graphic Design. Pete was a professional journalist for 20 years before joining Scott Design as senior copywriter and editor. He filled many editorial and design roles at three award-winning daily newspapers. Pete worked most recently as a newspaper copy editor at The Indianapolis Star. Previously, he worked at the Austin (Texas) American-Statesman and The Hanford (California) Sentinel. Pete has a degree in journalism from California State University, Fresno. His published magazine articles have focused on a variety of sports — including hockey, martial arts, and NCAA football. Trevor brings a wealth of technical expertise acquired over the past 13 years in leadership roles at distinguished high-tech firms. He worked more than nine years in web-based development, specializing in browser compatibility, JavaScript, and the programming of LAMP-based applications (Linux, Apache, MySQL , and PHP). Trevor’s experience includes implementation of a CRM web-based registration process for Maxtor and development of foreign jump-sites designed to work with existing backend systems for AltaVista.
