Scott Design received three Bronze prizes in the Horizon Interactive Awards competition that honors the“best of the best” in interactive media production worldwide.

A Bronze award in the Business-to-Business category recognized Scott Design’s work on a website for Braemar Energy Ventures. That website reflects Braemar’s standing as a bold, well-established backer of innovative ventures.

The Santa Cruz Chamber of Commerce website captured Bronze for Scott Design in the Activism/Non-Profit category. The website provides information about working, living, and playing in Santa Cruz. It also includes extensive member features, news and events, and an online business directory.

Scott Design’s own website took a Bronze award in the Self-Promotion/Portfolio category.

Recognizing work completed in 2010, the ninth annual competition saw more than 1,000 entries from 22 countries. An international panel of judges, consisting of industry professionals with diverse backgrounds, and an end-user panel evaluated entries in 37 different categories ranging from online advertising to mobile applications. The entries came in a wide range of media, including websites, CDs and DVDs, online ads, video, mobile applications, and more.

“The 2010 competition was an outstanding entry field,” said Mike Sauce, founder of the Horizon Interactive Awards.  “The overall diversity and quality of entries we received was fantastic, and judging was very competitive. We’re starting to see a convergence of all types of media, from web to mobile, into more integrated solutions for clients around the world. That’s exciting to see!“
