Who operates this site and collects information?
This site is owned and operated by Scott Design Inc., PO Box 758, Capitola, CA 95010, United States of America. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that we do not own or control.
What types of information are collected?
To communicate with you and complete your project, you must provide us with certain information, such as your name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of your project. You may also choose to provide us with additional personal information. On the hotdesign.com website, visitors can sign up for an HTML e-newsletter and can create an account for Special Delivery.
The types of personal information collected are:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Email address
- Company address and phone number
Note: Only your first name and email address are required to sign up for the e-newsletter or a Special Delivery account. With one necessary exception, personally identifiable information is never shared with a third party. The only exception would involve the use of a third-party email vendor that manages the emailing of the Scott Design Inc. e-newsletter to interested subscribers. The email vendor used by Scott Design Inc. follows the same strict Privacy Policy to which the hotdesign.com site adheres.
How is this information collected?
Information is collected when a visitor to the site submits information in a registration form. Information currently is submitted to register to receive the e-newsletter or open a Special Delivery account. Registration is conducted online.
How is this information used?
We use the information you provide about yourself to send you an e-newsletter or to store your Special Delivery designs. We use return email addresses to answer the emails we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.

You can register with our website if you would like to receive an e-newsletter, which provides the latest information about Scott Design Inc., or if you would like to be notified when we update the Special Delivery application. How you can access or correct your information
You can correct factual errors in your personally identifiable information by sending us a request that credibly shows error. To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections.
Cookies and log data
At hotdesign.com, we will use cookies (information files) to determine the number of visitors to our website and to eliminate the need for visitors to conduct multiple log-ins, if they seek to avoid those steps. We also will use cookies to determine user preferences that help us better provide the appropriate content you seek.
